The music of U2 has really ministered to me.  Yes, I say “ministered” because it’s not just that I like their music.  I find that it does point me to the Lord.  It speaks to things that Christians feel.  I remember in junior high my friend Greg Vanderpool would talk about U2, telling us that they were sincere Christians.  I thought Greg was cool and I trusted what he said, but I wasn’t really into U2.  Now that I am I think of him sometimes when I find that their music speaks to a Biblical world view and lifts my spirits.  After my mom died, there were several times that U2 songs reminded me how short this life is and how wonderful heaven is.  I like the way that Bono is so pointed in this interview about who Jesus was and is.  Enjoy!
